Atul Kukar, DO, MBA, MS, is currently the Chief of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Queens. He specializes in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and PAD, including endovascular intervention. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai West/Mounts Sinai Morningside and went on to complete his Interventional and Endovascular Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital from 2007-2009. He worked at Lenox Hill Hospital for the next ten years, developing his own practice and expanding the endovascular program there. Atul joined the Mount Sinai Healthcare system at the end of 2017 as Chief of Cardiology at MSQ and recently completed his executive MBA from Cornell University. He is currently focusing on building the Department of Cardiology at MSQ with a focus on developing and endovascular center of excellence there.
